Welcome to the official website of Albert Pike Lodge No. 33

Albert Pike Lodge No. 33 is the result of the union on 18 March 1985 of Mt. Pleasant Lodge No. 33 (chartered on 21 December 1910) and Albert Pike No. 36 (chartered on 15 December 1920).
Albert Pike meets the second Thursday of each month, with the exception of July and August, where we have outdoor activities.
Our meeting starts at 7:30pm at the Scotish Rite Temple 2800 16th St. NW Washington, DC 20009
We have dinner at 6:30pm, unless otherwise specified.

Masons are a unique institution that has been a major part of community life in America for over two hundred and fifty (250) years. It is America’s largest and oldest fraternity, and one that continues to be an important part of many men’s personal lives and growth.

Masons are an organization of men bound together with a philosophy of moral standards, mutual understanding and brotherhood in which all men are on a level and equal.

Although Freemasonry is not a religion, its emphasis on the Fatherhood of God ensures that the Brotherhood of Man follows naturally. This coupled with the obligation to abide by the Golden Rule, particularly with a fellow Mason, makes for one of the strongest bonds of society. When you meet other Masons, the odds are very high indeed, that they will treat you as you would like to be treated.

We welcome fellow Masons to visit the Lodge whenever convenient. If you are from another state and would like more details about our meetings (dress code, length of meetings, etc.), please contact us. Our doors are always open for visiting brethren!

Next Activity

Dear Brethren of Albert Pike Lodge No. 33,

Good afternoon!  Per the discussion at our January Stated Communication, we are overhauling our committee system in the interest of:

a) Investing all Brethren of our Lodge in the decision-making process and in the success of our endeavours;
b) Providing an organizational structure that provides a path of progressive responsibility for emerging leaders;
c) Dividing our labor effectively by empowering each Brother to focus his involvement on those activities at which he is particularly skilled or which are of specific interest to him; and
d) Optimizing our ability to achieve our Lodge's strategic vision, mission, goals, and objectives.

For all of these reasons, I ask that each one of us get involved in at least one committee.  By 5 PM this Thursday, please let me know on which of the following committee(s) you would like to serve:
